HellHorror’s review of Suck (2009) breaks down the plot, scares, cast performances, and its lasting impact on the horror genre.

Rob Stefaniuk directed Suck (2009) is a vampire film in the following genres: horror comedy music. This movie is based on a rock ‘n’ roll band who gets mixed up with vampires.

Suck features some big names as cameos like Malcolm McDowell, Alice Cooper, Henry Rollins, and Iggy Pop along with the cast including Rob Stefaniuk, Jessica Pare, and Paul Anthony.

The acting was mostly good with the odd actor appearing a little wonky at times. I watched this film expecting very little and just enjoying it for what it was. The comedy was there at times, and a found myself chuckling a good bit. Keeping everything spoiler free, watch the film on a rainy day or late night to pass the time.

I saw Suck (2009), and I really liked the makeup, made the characters pop off the screen. The vampires look okay, some better than others. The plot of the story was very average and uninteresting on my part. If it were not a late night movie, I would have probably taken it off, but if you watch it as I did, Suck was okay. I would not recommend this vampire movie to horror fans nor would I look at it again.
