Our honest review of The Bunnyman Massacre (2014) breaks down its scares, pacing, and whether this horror movie truly stands the test of time.
The Bunnyman Massacre (2014) is an American horror movie that is 90 minutes long that was filmed in Riverside, California, USA. Director, producer, editor and writer Carl Lindbergh (Bunnyman (2011), Shadows of the Dead (2004), Shattered Lives (2009)) took on too many jobs for this film and failed at executing an enjoyable movie. I found the plot to be pointless with too many characters that are killed off quickly. The CGI shows that the film did not have a huge or adequate budget as it was not good. The cinematography and directorial direction was off and needed significant improvements to make this movie an average watch. The acting from the actors did not help The Bunnyman Massacre as it was all over the place with amateurish acting skills. The Bunnyman Massacre is a forgettable watch that I would not recommend to anyone.
Six friends are seen driving through an isolated area when they soon realized that they are being pursued by a man wearing a rabbit suit driving a truck. The rabbit suit man/Bunnyman (Joshua Lang) refuses to talk to them and eventually forces them to pull over. We soon see the Bunnyman killed a female that he was holding hostage by using chains attached to his truck to rip her apart, gross.
Jack died after the Bunnyman rams the vehicle from behind while Jack was working underneath it. Now there are five people left so they decided to walk until they met a female and a man that told them that they should stay in an abandoned cabin that is nearby. Of course, the five of them listened and began their journey to the cabin that two complete strangers advise them to go to, yes, they are smart! We see some more deaths as the group of people fight to save their lives in the dumbest ways possible but who am I to judge.
