Transformers: The Last Knight Plot Synopsis:
Optimus Prime finds his dead home planet, Cybertron, in which he comes to find he was responsible for its destruction. He finds a way to bring Cybertron back to life, but in order to do so, Optimus needs to find an artifact that is on Earth.
Michael Bay returns to direct Transformers: The Last Knight (2017) in what appears to be a more story driven plot than any previous Transformers film. Not sure what the estimated movie budget was yet but you know they shelled out some big bucks for this movie. The cast looks solid, and they are all highly capable of terrific performances. The ending of the trailer showed Optimus Prime fighting Bumblebee; I am extremely interested to see where that leads. This new story in the Transformers movies goes back to the hidden history of the Transformers on Earth. Mark Wahlberg, Gemma Chan, John Goodman, and Anthony Hopkins star in Transformers: The Last Knight.
