Turbo Kid Plot Synopsis:
In a post-apocalyptic future, THE KID, a young solitary scavenger obsessed with comic books must face his fears and become a reluctant hero when he meets a mysterious girl named APPLE. Despite their efforts to keep to themselves, ZEUS, the sad**tic and self-proclaimed leader of the Wasteland, plagues THE KID and APPLE. Armed with little more than blind faith and an ancient turbocharged weapon, THE KID learns of justice and friendship and embarks on an incredible journey to rid the Wasteland of evil and save the girl of his dreams.
Turbo Kid (2015) is directed by a trio who are Anouk Whissell, François Simard, and Yoann-Karl Whissell. Turbo Kid originally started out as a competitor for The ABC"s of Death (2012) as T for Turbo but did not land the spot. Turbo Kid will be making it to theaters and on VOD thanks to Epic Pictures Group on August 28, 2015. Cast in Turbo Kid are Aaron Jeffrey, Laurence Leboeuf, Michael Ironside and Munro Chambers.
