Victor Frankenstein Plot Synopsis:

James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe star in a dynamic and thrilling twist on a legendary tale. Radical scientist Victor Frankenstein (McAvoy) and his equally brilliant protégé Igor Strausman (Radcliffe) share a noble vision of aiding humanity through their groundbreaking research into immortality. But Victor's experiments go too far, and his obsession has horrifying consequences. Only Igor can bring his friend back from the brink of madness and save him from his monstrous creation.

Update: The Hollywood Reporter just announced that Victor Frankenstein (2015) has been moved to Wednesday, November 25, 2015 as the new theatrical release date by 20th Century Fox.

Paul McGuigan"s new Frankenstein movie is titled Victor Frankenstein (2015). Not much has been released yet but we do have the official synopsis below and the release date will be October 2, 2015. Starring in Victor Frankenstein are James McAvoy, Daniel Radcliffe and Jessica Brown Findlay.

Synopsis / Plot Summary: James McAvoy is Victor Von Frankenstein and Daniel Radcliffe stars as Igor in a unique, never-before-seen twist on Mary Shelley"s classic 19th century novel. Told from Igor"s perspective, we see the troubled young assistant"s dark origins, his redemptive friendship with the young medical student Victor Von Frankenstein, and become eyewitnesses to the emergence of how Frankenstein became the man--and the legend--we know today.
