X-Men: Apocalypse Plot Synopsis:
Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel's X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto, to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven with the help of Professor X must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
Director Bryan Singer is bringing us a new X-Men movie titled X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) releasing in movie theaters this upcoming May 27, 2016. This new installment introduces Apocalypse into the X-Men universe for the first time as the principal villain. I love how Bryan Singer directs X-Men movies, and I am glad that he is the one directing this film. The first promo photos looked a little bit off; Apocalypse looked weird, but in later promos, they remedied the issues. Among the stars in X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) is Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Evan Peters, Olivia Munn, James McAvoy, Rose Byrne, and Nicholas Hoult. Stan Lee is also confirmed to be in the film in some way for his standard cameo.
