Air Plot Synopsis:
In the near future, breathable air is nonexistent. Virtually all of humanity has disappeared and those chosen to reestablish society reside in a controlled state of suspended animation. Two engineers (Norman Reedus and Djimon Hounsou) tasked with guarding the last hope for mankind struggle to preserve their own sanity and lives while administering to their vital task at hand.
Robert Kirkman is producing Air (2015) which will star Norman Reedus and Djimon Hounsou. Air is set to be released in Spring 2015 with debuting director Christian Cantamessa. Kirkman spoke with EW, where he states that Air is something like Ridley Scott"s Alien. I am already sold, and I cannot wait to see more on this new film.
Synopsis / Plot Summary: The story is set in an underground cryogenic facility after a nuclear fallout renders the atmosphere unbreathable. Air centers on its two custodial workers (Reedus, Hounsou), who take care of the cryogenically sleeping personnel that are to re-establish society, but they struggle to preserve their own sanity and lives while maintaining the extremely fragile environment of the last livable place on earth.
