Banshee Chapter Plot Synopsis:

BANSHEE CHAPTER follows investigative journalist, ANNA, researching a missing friend who ingested an undocumented research chemical once tested on civilians by CIA MK-Ultra experiments. The labyrinthine trail of evidence leads her into the disturbing world of black ops chemical tests, unexplained radio transmissions and disfigured entities in the blackness of night. Anna will do anything to uncover what lies behind her friend's disappearance but to her horror the entities are coming after her. Suspense-thriller based on true events shot in stereoscopic 3D staring Katia Winter and Ted Levine

XLrator Media is dropping Banshee Chapter in movie theaters and on DVD this upcoming January 10, 2014 and it looks to have some promise. Blair Erickson directs his latest horror movie which has us looking for people who disappeared after ingesting a military grade chemical. Synopsis does not state if they were forced to ingest the chemical. After looking at the movie trailer, I saw that the film showed great promise and looks like there are some good jump scares.

Synopsis / Plot Summary:  Inspired by actual documents detailing clandestine CIA experiments, writer/director Blair Erickson"s Banshee Chapter follows a resourceful young journalist (Katia Winter) who enlists the aid of a disgraced counterculture writer (Ted Levine) in locating her missing friend (Michael McMillan), who vanished without a trace after ingesting a mysterious, military-grade chemical. Drawn into a top-secret government research laboratory, she soon discovers the powers-that-be have a very good reason for concealing their findings.
