Leprechaun: Origins Plot Synopsis:
Backpacking through the lush Irish countryside, two unsuspecting young couples discover a town's chilling secret. Ben (Dunbar), Sophie (Bennet), David (Fletcher) and Jeni (Roxburgh) quickly discover the idyllic land is not what it appears to be when the town's residents offer the hikers an old cabin at the edge of the woods. Soon, the friends will find that one of Ireland's most famous legends is a terrifying reality.
Director Zach Lipovsky is making a scary Leprechaun in Leprechaun: Origins (2014). Many thought that the new Leprechaun Reboot movie would not get a theatrical release but the limited theatrical release date has been confirmed for August 22, 2014. Leprechaun: Origins will then get released on VOD, Pay-per-view and Digital HD on August 26, 2014. The Blu-ray / DVD release date has also been set for September 30, 2014. Starring in Leprechaun: Origins are Stephanie Bennett, Andrew Dunbar, Melissa Roxburgh, Brendan Fletcher and Dylan Postl as the Leprechaun.
