The Ouija Experiment 2: Theatre of Death (2015) is an American horror film that was filmed in Wellington, Texas, USA and is 89 painstakingly minutes long. Director and writer Israel Luna (Fright Flick (2011), The Ouija Experiment (2011), Ticked-Off Trannies with Knives (2010), The Deadbeat Club (2004)) did not flourish her talent while filming this movie. I gave this movie a two because it gave a brief summary of the first movie of its sequel for those who have not seen the first film, therefore, they should not be too lost. Also, because the film is very self-aware and I also enjoyed seeing the sunglass scene where the sunglasses has a built in SD card that also double as a video camera. Everything else about the movie is just a big mess.
Swisyzinna (Swisyzinna - Flight Fright (2015), The Ouija Experiment (2011), Wops the Movie (2011), Deceptions of Love (2013)), Justin Armstrong, and Eric Window is seen on stage answering questions from an audience. Justin (Justin Armstrong - Art of Survival (2012), Penumbra (2013), John Bosco in America (2015)), Swisyzinna and Eric are on stage with theater manager Ty. It did not take long for bizarre things to start happening as one of the attendees in the audience ask about the legend of the theater. The theaters legend is that a family of cannibals had once owned the theater and ate babies amongst other living things. Ty (Eric Zettina - Cycle (2014), John Bosco in America (2015), El Mano Negra (2014)) has a promotion going on since it is the “Ouija Weekend” event. Attendees of the show can win tickets to have an overnight tour with cast members in the theater. The group was supposed to give the attendee a fright by staging a haunted attraction, but Justin did not get his copy of the script. Eric (Eric Window - Sideline Confessions (2013), By Man’s Hand (2011), The Ouija Experiment (2011), Carter High (2015)) and theater assistant Elena (Jessica Willis) decides to play with the Ouija board instead of setting up the stages. Yep, they did it, they did not say “goodbye” when the duo ended the game as they know they should, and hell broke lose.
This is one of the worst movies ever in the history of movie making with a very slow pace and a sound mix that went incredibly wrong. The cover is scarier than the film. The person behind the camera work did a horrible job as well as the graphics department. I have ever watched, and there are a few times I would watch terrible movies for laughs, but I could not muster up one smirk with this one. The entire cast did not put their best foot forward while performing their roles because I bet a toddler can do a better job. Stay clear of this film because it just reeks disaster.
