V/H/S/2 (VHS 2) Plot Synopsis:

Continuing the saga of POV madness, dread, and gore documented in V/H/S (2012), this new found-footage horror anthology delves deeper into terrifying uncharted territories. Starting with "Tape 49", a team of private investigators breaks into the house of a missing student, only to discover a mountain of VHS tapes brimming with disturbing raw footage. Then, in "Phase I Clinical Trials", a state-of-the-art optical implant bestows poor Herman with unwanted supernatural-detecting abilities, and in "A Ride in the Park", an extreme biking enthusiast finds himself confronted with an all-out zombie apocalypse. Next, in "Safe Haven", a four-member film crew infiltrates a secret Indonesian cult and unearths horrific, reality-defying revelations. Finally, in "Slumber Party Alien Abduction", a sleepover at a lakeside house goes awry when malevolent extraterrestrials crash the party.

I saw VHS and thought it was pretty good. Some of the directors did really well with their horror shorts and made the horror movie anthology worth watching. The Original V/H/S (VHS) is available to watch on Netflix so I recommend watching before V/H/S 2 releases this upcoming July 12, 2013.

Synopsis / Plot Summary: The search for a missing teen leads two private investigators into a derelict house littered with mysterious VHS tapes in this sequel to the hit horror anthology V/H/S. As the detectives scan the videotapes in search of vital clues, what they find instead is a series of tales so shocking they are driven to the edge of madness. Genre specialists Simon Barrett, Adam Wingard, Jason Eisener, Edúardo Sanchez, Gregg Hale, Timo Tjahjanto, and Gareth Evans lead viewers on a terrifying ride into a world where your worst nightmares come true.
