Rings Plot Synopsis:
Julia becomes worried about her boyfriend, Holt, when he explores the dark urban legend of a mysterious video said to kill the watcher seven days after viewing. She sacrifices herself to save her boyfriend and in doing so makes a horrifying discovery: there is a "movie within the movie" that no one has ever seen before.
Update 9/23/16: Rings (2016) release date delayed again to February 3, 2017, by Paramount Pictures.
Update 2/18/2016: Release date changed to October 28, 2016.
Samara in F. Javier Gutierrez"s Rings (2016) will be released in movie theaters on April 1, 2016. Paramount Pictures announced the date and BoxOfficeMojo confirmed. Originally Rings was scheduled to release in movie theaters on November 15, 2015, but hopefully, the extra time can allow more polish on the film. Johnny Galecki, Matilda Lutz, Alex Roe, and Aimee Teegarden are set to star in Rings.
