'The Axe Murders of Villisca' is a ghost story based on the house where the notorious and still unsolved 1912 axe murders took place. Three outcast teenagers break into the house in search of answers, but discover something far beyond their worst fears.

Tony E. Valenzuela"s The Axe Murders of Villisca (2016) is inspired by the true story of a real murder house. Now, some teens claiming to be paranormal investigators are trying to bring in after hours to their inevitable doom. This film also releases on Blu-ray and DVD via Scream Factory. Robert Adamson, Jarrett Sleeper, and Alex Frnka star in The Axe Murders of Villisca.

THE AXE MURDERS OF VILLISCA - Witness a new horror inspired by the true events that shocked a nation! On a June night in 1912, the peaceful town of Villisca suffered an unfathomable crime. Eight people--a mother, father, their four children, and two guests--were brutally murdered by an axe-wielding killer in a case that remains unsolved to this day. 104 years later, Caleb (Robert Adamson) and Denny (Jarrett Sleeper), two friends who share an interest in ghost hunting, and new girl in school Jess (Alex Frnka) sneak into the house where the infamous bloodbath occurred in hopes of recording paranormal activity.
