Tomorrowland Plot Synopsis:
Bound by a shared destiny, a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity and a former boy-genius inventor jaded by disillusionment embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space that exists in their collective memory as "Tomorrowland."
Brad Bird"s Tomorrowland (2015) was shot on a massive estimated $190 million movie budget grossing a little under $33 million on the opening weekend. The film continued to do well but just did not get enough traction before ending at $93 million gross. I suspect the stars and visuals ate up most of the budget, the film is gorgeous! If you are looking for a visually stunning, real-life Disney movie, this is your film to see. George Clooney, Britt Robertson, and Hugh Laurie star in Tomorrowland.
