I Am Not a Serial Killer Plot Synopsis:

In a small Midwestern town, a troubled teen with homicidal tendencies must hunt down and destroy a supernatural killer while keeping his own inner demons at bay.

I Am Not a Serial Killer (2016) has some potential to be something a little different. Director Billy O"Brien is working off a script based on the best-selling novel also named I Am Not a Serial Killer by author Dan Wells. IFC Midnight is releasing this film in movie theaters and on VOD this August 26, 2016. This film is about a teenager who has a high probability of being a serial killer and everyone telling him to act more "normal." He has to protect his hometown from the real serial killer killing folks in his town. Laura Fraser, Christopher Lloyd, and Max Records star in I Am Not a Serial Killer. I cannot wait to catch this film on VOD and see how well the finished product came out.

Synopsis / Plot Summary: "Sixteen-year-old John Wayne Cleaver (Max Records, Where the Wild Things Are) is not a serial killer--but he has all the makings of one. Keeping his homicidal tendencies and morbid obsessions with death and murder in check is a constant struggle that only gets harder when a real serial killer begins terrorizing his sleepy Midwestern town. Now, in order to track down a psychopath and protect those around him, John must unleash his darkest inner demons. Based on the cult novel by Dan Wells, this twisted, genre-bending thriller co-stars Christopher Lloyd and Breaking Bad"s Laura Fraser."

Directed by Billy O"Brien and based on the novel of the same name by Dan Wells, I Am Not a Serial Killer stars Laura Fraser, Christopher Lloyd, Max Records, Karl Geary, and Bruce Bohne. IFC Midnight will release the film in select theaters and on VOD on August 26th.
