Synopsis / Plot Summary: After waking up in an apartment where only the night before a party was raging, Sam is forced to come to grips with reality: He is now alone and the living dead have invaded the streets of Paris. Petrified with fear, Sam is going to have to barricade himself inside the building and organize his survival. But is he really the sole survivor?

Press Release: Los Angeles, CA (April 20, 2018) - Blue Fox Entertainment announced today that they have acquired North American rights for THE NIGHT EATS THE WORLD, one day ahead of its North American premiere as an Official Selection at the Tribeca Film Festival. The French zombie thriller is already one of the most eagerly anticipated Tribeca titles, having been named to Indiewire"s "11 Must See Films" list and to EW"s "What to See at Tribeca List."

Director Dominique Rocher shot the film in both French and English language during production; Blue Fox will be giving the English version its World Premiere via a theatrical release this coming summer; Tribeca is screening the French version with English subtitles.

The film was produced by Carole Scotta of Haut et Court, with the participation of Canal +, Cin? +, WTFilms and Haut et Court Distribution, with the support of CNC - Nouvelles Technologies en Production and SACEM, in association with Sofitvcine 4, Cofinova 13, Ind?films 5.

Todd Slater brokered the deal on behalf of Blue Fox Entertainment with United Talent Agency on behalf of the filmmakers. WTFilms is handling international sales.

Director Dominique Rocher also co-wrote the screenplay with J?r?mie Guez and Guillaume Lemans, which is an adaptation of French author Pit Agarmen"s novel La Nuit a D?vor? le Monde. The film stars the great Norwegian actor Anders Danielsen Lie, with strong supporting performances from Dennis Lavant and Golshifteh Farahani.

In THE NIGHT EATS THE WORLD, Sam wakes one morning to find himself living in a nightmare: an army of zombies have invaded the streets of Paris and he the lone survivor. While contemplating his bleak future and how to survive, he learns he may not be alone after all.
