Gerald's Game Plot Synopsis:
When a harmless game between a married couple in a remote retreat suddenly becomes a harrowing fight for survival, wife Jessie must confront long-buried demons within her own mind - and possibly lurking in the shadows of her seemingly empty house.
Mike Flanagan directs one of Stephen King"s most challenging movie adaptations with Gerald"s Game (2017). The entire film revolves around a woman handcuffed to her bed at a remote lake house after her husband"s sudden death and how she is going to stay alive. Obviously, we are going to have flashbacks to move the storyline along but still, a complicated horror movie screenplay to pull off right. Carla Gugino, Henry Thomas, and Bruce Greenwood star in Gerald"s Game.
