Saw Plot Synopsis:

Waking up in a bathroom, two men, Adam and Dr. Lawrence Gordon, discover they have been captured by the infamous Jigsaw Killer. The men must escape before time runs out, otherwise, they will face the deadly consequences.

James Wan"s Saw (2004) has become a real classic of modern horror movies and today we have the official poster for the Saw 10th Anniversary Re-release. This will be a one-week only re-release into movie theaters. I don"t know about you but I watch Saw once every year, this year I will relive the movie theater experience. Starring in Saw are Cary Elwes, Leigh Whannell and Danny Glover.

Synopsis / Plot Summary:  With a dead body lying between them, two men wake up in the secure lair of a serial killer who"s been nicknamed "Jigsaw". The men must follow various rules and objectives if they wish to survive and win the deadly game set for them.

Why Watch Saw

Oh, have you checked out "Saw"? It came out in 2004; seriously, it’s not your average horror movie. Directed by James Wan, this film takes twisted to a whole new level. It's about these two guys who wake up in a grimy, old bathroom, chained up, and they've got no clue how they got there. The catch? They’re part of a sick game that this creepy character called Jigsaw set up.

Jigsaw is like no villain you've seen before. He’s not just about the scares; he’s got this weird philosophy about valuing life. The traps in the movie? They’re insanely creative and just as terrifying. It's like a horror version of those escape rooms but with higher stakes – like life-or-death stakes.

The main guys, played by Cary Elwes and Leigh Whannell (who also co-wrote the film, by the way), are really good at showing how freaked out and desperate you’d be in that situation. Their panic? Super believable.

What’s really cool about "Saw" is how it’s not just about the gore. I mean, yeah, it’s pretty gory, but it’s also got this intense, psychological side. It messes with your head. You’re trying to solve the puzzle right along with the characters.

And the ending? No spoilers, but man, it’s a jaw-dropper. Didn’t see that coming!

So, if you’re into horror movies that are more than jump scares and have a seriously dark twist, "Saw" is right up your alley. Just, maybe don’t plan on sleeping too well that night!
